You can now view the statuses on the WhatsApp web from the newly updated version 0.2.5854. When you are logged into your web WhatsApp you can see a circular icon just beside your profile picture.

 Click on the icon and you shall be redirected to a new page where you can view all the status of your contacts. As said, the visual interface is the same as your mobile phone. Use it the way you handle to see your statuses on the phone. You will also be able to reply to the active status.

The ‘status’ feature allows you to even share your photos, videos, texts, emojis and others. Remember, the status shall remain visible for 24 hours before disappearing.
